Chasing Sam is about love and sacrifice and finding ones self. This book was a 4 Stars for me!
We've got Samantha, whose part of a very elite, important family. A family who doesn't agree with her finishing school to get a doctor degree and working in third world countries. They'd rather her get mated to another "elite" family. Samantha is not okay with this plan. She's an independent woman and she'd like to chose her mate, for love...not political pairing.
Then we've got Chase. A sexy werewolf who's fought in a few wars. He's first introduced to Sam when they have a chance encounter at the airport. Their town is not a huge town and they do eventually discover each other.
With political rules, a psychotic mother, and a crazy wild bear in the forest...will Samantha be able to find true love with Chase? Or will one of these other noble snobbist wolves claim her first?
Saving Margaret
First let me start off with that Paranormal is my favorite genre. I eat, breath, live paranormal books of all variety. I'm a huge fan of shifters, vampires, incubus, witches, wolves, demons, angels etc! You name it and if its got a good story and supernatural beings I'll love it.
I love how Saving Margaret continues the Vegas Mates first book Chasing Sam. We get to see some of the characters we already had before in the first story. Margaret is a bit skittish about having a Bear for a mate and though her wolf is telling her, he's yours...she's like Nope, not happening!
There's definitely some differences between the two characters and Margaret is very concerned about where Scott lives. Bears don't live in "packs" and she's big on the whole family thing. How are they ever going to work that relationship out if she needs a pack/people around to make her feel more comfortable? And how will Scott deal with that when he's a bear? They like their privacy.
I like how the author tied up their needs and wants in the end though there is a tragedy in the end...with more than one person dying. I was really sad about that. I wasn't super attached to the characters but I was horrified none the less that all of them had to die. There is definitely a true villian in this book. I suggest reading book 1 Chasing Sam first before reading this one so you don't ruin Saving Margaret as it will have spoilers ;)

Krystal is an awesome author. She has many talents but her way with words is a gift to us all.
